Learn Drums

Once you have learned the basic drum rolls it is time to move onto something a little more advanced. The buzz roll is a slightly more complicated drum roll and is a very common technique for fast rolls.

It requires multiple strokes for each hand. The easiest way to learn the buzz roll is to start with one hand. Starting with your left hand strike the drum with the drumstick and let it bounce as much as possible. Repeat this with the right hand.You will be making a pattern similar to this LLLLLLRRRRRR.
